Why I Created Bright Earth Kids

As a parent, project leader, and lifelong learner, I wanted to create something that made environmental education simple, accessible, and fun — especially for kids.

Bright Earth Kids is a passion project rooted in a belief that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to teach. With characters like Steve the Spoon, we're showing children that even small choices — like reusing a spoon — can shape a better future.

I started this series to help my own kids understand the world they’re growing up in — and to give parents and teachers a tool to spark bigger conversations.

This project blends my background in sustainability and communication with my desire to build something meaningful for the next generation. Thanks for being here.
